Terms of Use — Cliffhanger

By using Cliffhanger you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

Cliffhanger lets you track series and movies, get recommendations, and interact with other users through comments and votes. Metadata is provided by third parties (TMDB, OMDb) and we do not guarantee its accuracy.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account. Keep your sign-in method secure. You must be old enough to use the app in your country.

User content and acceptable use

You are solely responsible for the content you post (comments, replies, public list names and GIFs). By posting, you grant us a licence to display that content within the app.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, spam, or that infringes anyone's rights. You agree not to impersonate others or abuse other users.

Comments and public names are automatically filtered for offensive language before being published. You can report any comment, list or user, and block any user, from within the app. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours; content that breaks these Terms is removed and the accounts responsible are suspended or terminated.

Cliffhanger Plus (purchases)

Cliffhanger Plus unlocks extra features and is available in two forms:

• Annual subscription — an auto-renewable subscription billed yearly, with a one-week free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy the lifetime unlock.
• Lifetime unlock — a one-time, non-consumable purchase for the account that buys it. It does not renew.

Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple.

Intellectual property

Cliffhanger and its original content are protected by law. Film and series artwork and metadata belong to their respective owners and are provided via TMDB/OMDb.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

El servicio

Cliffhanger te permite hacer seguimiento de series y películas, obtener recomendaciones e interactuar con otros usuarios mediante comentarios y votos. Los metadatos los proporcionan terceros (TMDB, OMDb) y no garantizamos su exactitud.

Tu cuenta

Eres responsable de la actividad de tu cuenta. Mantén seguro tu método de acceso. Debes tener la edad suficiente para usar la app en tu país.

Contenido de usuario y uso aceptable

Eres el único responsable del contenido que publicas (comentarios, respuestas, nombres de listas públicas y GIFs). Al publicar, nos concedes una licencia para mostrar ese contenido dentro de la app.

Hay tolerancia cero con el contenido objetable o el comportamiento abusivo. Te comprometes a no publicar contenido ilegal, de odio, acosador, amenazante, sexualmente explícito, violento, difamatorio, spam, o que infrinja los derechos de terceros. Te comprometes a no suplantar a otras personas ni abusar de otros usuarios.

Los comentarios y los nombres públicos pasan por un filtro automático de lenguaje ofensivo antes de publicarse. Puedes denunciar cualquier comentario, lista o usuario, y bloquear a quien quieras, desde la propia app. El contenido denunciado se revisa en menos de 24 horas; lo que incumpla estos Términos se elimina y las cuentas responsables se suspenden o se cierran.

Cliffhanger Plus (compras)

Cliffhanger Plus desbloquea funciones extra y está disponible de dos formas:

• Suscripción anual — suscripción de renovación automática con cobro anual y una semana de prueba gratuita para nuevos suscriptores. El pago se carga en tu cuenta de Apple al confirmar la compra. Se renueva automáticamente salvo que la canceles al menos 24 horas antes de que termine el periodo en curso, y el cobro de la renovación se realiza en las 24 horas previas al fin del periodo. Puedes gestionarla o cancelarla en Ajustes > tu cuenta de Apple > Suscripciones. Si compras el desbloqueo de por vida, se pierde la parte no disfrutada de la prueba gratuita.
• Desbloqueo de por vida — compra única (no consumible) para la cuenta que la adquiere. No se renueva.

Los precios se muestran en la app antes de comprar. Las compras las procesa Apple y están sujetas a sus términos; los reembolsos los gestiona Apple.

Propiedad intelectual

Cliffhanger y su contenido original están protegidos por la ley. Las carátulas y metadatos de películas y series pertenecen a sus respectivos propietarios y se proporcionan vía TMDB/OMDb.

Exención y limitación de responsabilidad

La app se ofrece «tal cual», sin garantías de ningún tipo. En la medida que permita la ley, no somos responsables de daños indirectos o incidentales derivados del uso de la app.

Finalización

Puedes dejar de usar la app y borrar tu cuenta en cualquier momento desde Ajustes. Podemos suspender o cerrar el acceso por incumplir estos Términos.

Cambios

Podemos actualizar estos Términos; el uso continuado tras los cambios implica que los aceptas.
